You're entitled to request a "Good Faith Estimate," which outlines the anticipated costs for your medical and mental health care services. This is required by law for patients without insurance or those not using insurance. You can ask any healthcare provider, including your chosen provider for psychotherapy services, for this estimate before scheduling any service. For more details or questions about this right, you can visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
